Tems Launches Leading Vibe Initiative (LVI) to Empower Female Music Creatives

Grammy Award–winning Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems has launched the Leading Vibe Initiative (LVI), a groundbreaking mentorship and empowerment program aimed at supporting women in the music industry.

The initiative kicked off in Lagos, where 20 young women were selected to participate in workshops, mentorship sessions, and training focused on creative autonomy, leadership, and industry skills. Backed by professionals from Sony, Universal Music Group, and influential African artists such as Sasha P and Bloody Civilian, the project is set to transform the future of women in music.

Tems explained that the Leading Vibe Initiative was created to help women break barriers in a male-dominated industry, adding that her goal is to equip the next generation of female creatives with tools to thrive and lead.

The program will soon expand beyond Nigeria, with Nairobi and other African cities already on the roadmap.

By launching LVI, Tems continues to cement her role not only as a global star but also as a cultural leader and advocate for inclusivity in African music.
