Oyebanji projects Ekiti as next investment hub

Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, has highlighted his administration’s achievements and reaffirmed plans to position the state as Nigeria’s next investment hub at the 13th edition of the MARKETING EDGE Awards and Dinner in Lagos.

Oyebanji, who was honoured with the 2025 Grand Prix Award, was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr Niyi Adebayo, at the event held recently at the Sheraton Balmoral Convention Centre. He said Ekiti State has undertaken transformative policy decisions and accelerated critical infrastructure development to make the state more attractive to investors.

In his keynote speech, the governor also underscored the role of advertising in driving growth. “World over, advertising remains a powerful catalyst for economic growth, stimulating consumer demand for goods and services, fostering competition among businesses, driving mass production and, in the process, lowering costs and prices, and creating jobs,” he said.
