Nollywood star Don Richard has talked candidly about a health scare that unexpectedly occurred after he stopped drinking and smoking.

In a recent video, the actor revealed that he only started experiencing serious health issues two years after he had made the decision to drop his old lifestyle. The shock of falling ill at a time when he expected to be healthier made the experience even more humbling

He was hospitalised, and according to him, that period forced him to deeply reflect. The actor said it was in that hospital room that he began to understand something many people don’t realise — a lot of the illnesses that take out prominent people come from within.
