NCAA cracks down on 11 airways over excellent debts

Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has directed all its directorates to withhold products and providers from 11 domestic airways unless they resolve their financial duties.

Director of Finance and Accounts, Olufemi Odukoya, in a memo dated Would possibly also 22, 2026, received by Vanguard, listed the affected airways as Air Peace Restricted, Ibom Air Restricted, Arik Air Restricted, United Nigeria Airlines, Umza Air, NGeagle Airline, Max Air Restricted, Caverton Helicopters, Overland Airways, Rano Air and ValueJet.

The memo, titled: ‘Updated Listing of Airlines on No-Pay-No-Service,’ acknowledged: “The Director-Overall of the NCAA, Capt Chris Najomo, has directed that no directorate should render any service to the affected airways with out financial clearance from the Directorate of Finance and Accounts.”

Talking on the boost, an aviation manual, Adeola Fadairo, said: “It is not most attention-grabbing justified, it is long overdue. What makes this field particularly anxious is that these funds conclude not belong to the airways within the first self-discipline. The five per cent Designate Gross sales Price, TSC, is a statutory levy paid by passengers and quiet by airways in belief for the regulator below the laws establishing the NCAA.
