Actress Iyabo Ojo of Nollywood has explained why she stood by comedian Princess during Baba Ijesha’s rape sage.

She said she was furious because she had gone through what the victim had gone through several times and thought enough was enough during an episode of The Goldroom with Iyabo.

Iyabo stated that she realized Nigeria still has a long way to go after being shocked by how adults were twisting the narrative and even coming for the child and princess. Iyabo went on to say that she gets upset when her fellow performers act inappropriately because she believes that people expect them to act appropriately.

Iyabo disclosed that she had been raped five times in an interview with Biola Bayo. Iyabo said that she would come for her son without apology if he were accused of rape, pointing out that we have many rape apologists.
