Released on Friday, August 14, the 16-track album has moved ahead of other major releases on the Nigerian chart as listeners continue to stream the project.

The album’s arrival has also sparked a purple-themed rollout across social media, with Ayra Starr, fans, brands, and other artists adopting the colour in posts, artwork, and promotional materials tied to Starrgirl.

Starrgirl is Ayra Starr’s third studio album, following 19 & Dangerous and The Year I Turned 21. The project features Wizkid, Rema, ZAYN, Leon Thomas, KWN, Danny Ocean, and Theodora.

Wizkid appears on “Gimme Dat”, while Rema features on “Who’s Dat Girl”. ZAYN joins Ayra Starr on “Heaven Baby”, with Leon Thomas appearing on “Pressure”.
