“You’re Wasting Your Money If You Spend It on Women” – Spyro Tells Men

Nigerian singer Spyro has sparked widespread reactions on social media after sharing his thoughts on how men spend their money in relationships.

The “Who Is Your Guy?” crooner advised men to focus on investing in themselves and building their future rather than spending excessively to impress women.

The singer made the comments while performing on stage, pausing his set to address the crowd directly on financial discipline.

“If you think you are here and you are spending money on women, you are wasting your time,” he said, before clarifying that his issue was not with taking care of women, but with reckless spending meant to impress them.

Spyro said many young men neglect their financial future by chasing luxury and relationships instead of building lasting wealth.

“When the money finished, I didn’t see anybody,” he said. “As a man, put your head into work. When you start to make money, save up, invest.”

The singer revealed he chose to invest rather than spend flashily when fame and money came his way, a decision he credits with shielding him from financial hardship.

He also spoke about how attention from women changed once he became successful.

“When I blew, all these fresh girls began entering my DM. They would even promise to take me to Dubai and pay the bill. These are the girls that I used to crush on when I was broke,” Spyro said.

He maintained that the message behind his music is for young men to work hard, invest wisely, and avoid spending beyond their means for validation.
